We’re not here to join the system — we’re here to rebuild it. 

Phase 1: The Launch

"Yehi sab karna tha toh MBBS kyun kar raha hai, engineering hi kar leta."

That’s what I’ve been constantly hearing for the last few months from friends and family after I told them about the launch of Consula.in.

Medical education in India today is mostly about doing MBBS, preparing for PG, and getting a decent branch. But I’m not planning to follow that same path!

Since childhood, I’ve been a curious person who loves building and innovating. I was also drawn to social work because of my family background. After taking admission in GMC Sambhajinagar, I came in contact with Sevankur Bharat, a community of medicos. Attending their flagship event One Week for Nation in Haridwar and conducting medical camps in remote corners of India exposed me to the many problems faced by patients in these areas.

I kept thinking — if these patients face such challenges, how many others across India must be struggling too? How can we connect them to the care they deserve?

That’s how the idea of Consula was born. I spoke with doctors across specialties and patients from diverse backgrounds to understand their problems.

To make healthcare truly accessible, I decided to build a platform. It wasn’t easy — I had to learn many things, explore possibilities, fail, and learn again. Six months in, while managing my 2nd year of MBBS, I built a website on my own.

In May 2025, we went live. Today, Consula.in is a platform where patients can find trusted doctors, therapists, and hospitals, take online consultations, and book hospital visits.

But this is just the beginning.

Consula isn’t just another teleconsultation platform — it’s our vision of a one-stop healthcare operating system for India.

This journey haven't been easy at all and I would like to thank all the consultants, family and friends who helped me in this.
